SUPERVISION —
Individual and group supervision

Introduction
At the Ama Dablam Institute, we offer individual and group supervision for both clinical practice as well as training and supervision work.
For both types of supervision, supervisees are strongly encouraged to bring audio or video recordings of their client sessions.
Additionally, we occasionally organize CTA exam preparation groups.
Individual supervision
Individual supervision is for those who prefer one-on-one time with a supervisor to explore into their chosen topics. It provides a space for tailored support and ideas on client work.
This may be especially useful for individuals with limited time for supervision or for those who experience high levels of anxiety and require support in a private setting before they feel comfortable discussing their personal and professional vulnerabilities in a group.
Individual supervision arrangements can be made for a specific time frame or as part of an ongoing professional relationship that may extend for years.
One individual supervision session lasts for 45 minutes.
Group supervision
Group supervision is aimed at individuals who, in addition to the support of a supervisor, wish to benefit from group support, various perspectives, and shared experiences. We offer closed group supervision consisting of up to three members (four including the supervisor), with commitments based on a 6-month period. Typically, each group session is contracted for three full hours, and each member is responsible for the cost of one hour of supervision.
The usual format of our group supervision sessions is as follows:
Connecting in
Supervision no 1
Short break
Supervision no 2

Supervision no 3

With this structure, each supervisee typically has approximately 30-40 minutes dedicated to their supervision questions.
