A Journey into Nature, a Journey into Yourself – How the Eco-TA Method Works
We’re happy to invite you to a three-day experiential journey into the world of eco–Transactional Analysis (eco-TA).
This workshop is conceived as a meeting space between inner processes and the living environment, between stories and the place that receives us. Most of the work will take place outdoors, in direct contact with nature, which here is not a backdrop, but an active participant and conversation partner in the process of learning and exploration.
Through deep experiential and reflective learning, we will explore what it means to shift from an ego-based to an eco-based self. How the therapeutic relationship changes when we acknowledge nature as a living presence. What collaboration looks like with an environment we do not merely observe, but that also includes us. We will address the significance of place and niche, the thresholds we cross or linger around, and the paths that open from those points. We will explore rituals and stories that emerge from experience, as well as differences in how we experience the body, contact, and self when working outdoors compared to an indoor setting.
The workshop is designed as an immersion into process, with an emphasis on experience, presence, and integration. There will be plenty of space for personal experience, shared reflection, learning through direct contact, and just enough theory so we don’t lose our way in the processes. You are invited to slow down, listen closely, and allow yourself to be in relationship with nature, with yourself, and with others in ways that cannot be fully planned in advance.
These three days of work – and, we hope, enjoyment – are intended for TA students, counsellors, and therapists who are looking for ways to bring their practice closer to nature, and to bring nature closer to themselves or their clients. The workshop is for those who want to explore themselves in a new context and in relationship with context, for those interested in eco-psychotherapy, and for those ready to embark on an adventure.
See you in nature.
The workshop is led by Maja Delibašić, PTSTA-P, who has been enthusiastically practising eco-TA since 2022 in the village of Gornji Matejevac near Niš, both in therapeutic work and in her educational practice. She presented the results of her pilot study on the effects of an eco-TA personal growth group as a poster presentation at the WTAC conference in Montpellier. In recent years, she has actively presented eco-TA through workshops and lectures at various professional conferences in Serbia and Croatia.
