Tea Knežević (Croatia) is a psychologist, play therapist (RPT), and transactional analysis trainee. She is the co-founder and director of Centar Proventus d.o.o., where she conducts psychotherapy with children and adults and leads numerous educational programs for professionals.
She is the author of more then 20 picture books containing therapeutic stories for children.
Since 2012, Tea has been actively involved in Centar Proventus. That same year, she became a practitioner of neurolinguistic programming and began training in various areas of play therapy. She highlights her education in Integrative Play Therapy Approach, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Filial Play Therapy, and Expressive Techniques.
She is currently completing advanced training in transactional analysis. She cites additional significant training for her work, including “Trauma, body and brain” by Dr. Van der Kolk, “Neurobiology of Relationships” by Dr. Siegel, and training in EMDR. She writes and implements various projects and collaborates with numerous media to promote the importance of mental health for individuals and society as a whole.
